This update introduces the new Straight-In app icon, modernized header typography and airport pill controls, customizable emergency checklist display settings, and fixes duplicate aircraft icon rendering on instrument approach plates.
Refreshed App Icon
- New Brand Icon: Updated the application icon to feature the new Straight-In design across iOS home screens and system menus.
- Cockpit Benefit: Establishes a clean visual identity that aligns with the modernized flight planning user interface.
Modernized Headers & Airport Pills
- Capsule Airport Tags: Updated section header airport tags to clean, rounded capsule buttons that match the flight planning design.
- Header Typography & Accents: Cleaned up header text using monospaced typography complemented by a subtle orange gradient accent line.
- Cockpit Benefit: Enhances legibility of airport identifiers and section headers under varying cockpit lighting conditions.
Customizable Emergency & Checklist Display
- Toggle Emergency Button: Added a configuration setting to show or hide emergency checklists, removing the red Emergency button from the Home screen when hidden.
- Dynamic Layout Spacing: Home and tool screens automatically adjust spacing when emergency or optional checklists are disabled.
- Cockpit Benefit: De-clutters the primary interface for flights where emergency shortcuts are not needed, preventing inadvertent button taps.
Approach Plate Map Fix
- Cleaned Up Instrument Plates: Fixed an issue where a duplicate aircraft icon appeared in the bottom-left corner of instrument approach plates while navigating a flight.
