Precision Alignment: Perfecting Your Double-Sided Kneeboards
To prevent the clip from obscuring vital info, our Clip Margin setting adds white space at the top of the page and scales the content to fit.
However, when printing double-sided (short-edge flip), the back page is rotated 180 degrees. Previously, our layout engine didn’t perfectly account for this rotation, leading to uneven margins on the back side.
The Fix: Precision Alignment
We’ve updated our printing engine to ensure that your margins are perfectly symmetrical, front to back. By refining how we calculate spacing for rotated pages, the “visual top” of your back page now matches the front exactly—no matter your selected margin size.
What This Means for You
- Higher Quality Prints: Your printed kneeboards will now look cleaner with perfectly aligned text on both sides.
- Better Use of Space: No more “guessing” where the clip will land on the back side.
- Seamless Transitions: Flipping your kneeboard page during flight is now smoother, with eyes landing exactly where they need to.
Better Kneeboards for Safer Pilots just got a little better.
